SIGN UP INFORMATION
Thank you for your interest in crafting with us! Most of the time all of the supplies are at no cost to you. We may also even offer refreshments from time to time.
We have a few new procedures that we would like to let you know about.....
1) Due to the number of "no shows" we have decided to require a donation to secure your spot. Each craft may have a different requirement based on the cost of the product we are making. The donation is usually $5.00 or $10.00. You will not have a spot secured unless you have made your donation. This is non-refundable. If you do not attend the crafting night, your donation will not be returned to you.
2) Our programming budget is set up at the beginning of the year through funds that we receive through county taxes that are collected from you in our Library Service Area and donations from patrons like you. We will begin to require that you hold a library card here at the Poseyville Carnegie Public Library in order to sign up for a craft. It's only fair that patrons that pay taxes get the benefits of our programs. (We will make exceptions if you want to bring your friend from out of town, but they will need to pay the full price of the craft. In this case $15 for non-patrons.)
3) Your library card must be in good standing and currently active. It only takes a minute to get signed up and/or renew your card. Just the same as our check out policy, you will not be able to participate in the craft if you have a balance of $10.00 or higher on your library account.
4) Reservations will be taken in person or by phone but your spot is not secure until you make your donation. No Facebook reservations and you cannot reserve a spot for another person without making a donation.
